When that light shines down
Onto our tiny faces
We pause to think of
Times past when
We were so lax
But after those few seconds
Of pure reflection
Time resumes to strangle this world,
Wringing every last drop
Of blessed hope
And the Sun in all its glory,
Comes crashing down
Upon mountains of youth,
Where all the truth and essence of humanity
Is spread into this basin of deceit,
This land in which our 'failures' remain
Or rather where humanity's failures
Have led to our demise
But our demise is where
Humanity's downfall lies,
And so we build ourselves up
From those decrepit mountains
To find a better place
Until all is
